Indiyah Polack

@1ndiyah

Short bio -

My name is Indiyah, I’m 22 years old, Jamaican background and I live in south london! I was born and raised in Wimbledon until I moved to Brixton at around 15 which is where I’m currently living. After finishing secondary school and sixth form I had picked up many different retail jobs even completed a hair dressing course until I got into more office spaced work. Formerly as a commercial buying administrator at Waitrose which I actually enjoyed for the most part.

However, I’m a very creative person and as I’m ageing like fine wine ( LOL jk) it’s becoming more clear to me that I have to do things that my heart actually desires which is why I spend most of my current days content creating, colouring hair and free lance modelling as it’s something I absolutely enjoy!

Why did I want to be a LAPP ambassador?

From a young age I’ve always been interested in modelling! I love being in front of the camera and strutting my stuff lool but I’d always thought I would never go far with it because I’m not your average height supermodel but I didn’t let it get to me too much! And growing up influencing wasn’t a thing so I never saw people my height doing runway, modelling for fashion brands or anything like that.

When I saw that you created the LAPP brand it literally warmed my heart because I saw that you always included models all shapes and sizes/ even influencers and singers- there was no strict rule in what you needed to look like in order to rock LAPP brand. A long with it being an absolutely gorgeous sportswear line I love how the items can also be worn everyday. I like to get fly but for the most part I feel myself in a nice comfy two piece! LAPP brand is deffo a brand I can say I’d wear and feel my absolute best and self in which is why I was honoured when I chosen to be an ambassador!!!

Celeste Green

@a.celestial.body

Short bio -

Hi everyone! My name is Celeste and I am a 24 year old model currently based in Charleston, South Carolina. Formerly a student, I just recently graduated from college with a degree in Philosophy and a degree in English with a concentration in Literature, Film and Cultural Studies. Charleston is a city with a complex history; when I am not participating in fashion oriented pursuits, I occupy my time with the various forms of activism necessary in a city such as mine.

Why did I want to be a LAPP ambassador?

I value trailblazers. LAPP The Brand and LAPP Magazine respectively are shaping our cultural landscape; just like their founder. I wanted to be a part of something that redefines the world as we know it. LAPP is the perfect fit.

AARINOLA AYO-IPAYE

@nolssfit

Short bio -

Heya! Aarinola here! I’m a fourth year medical student who loves all things fitness and yoga. Some of my favourite pastimes are aerial (think circus or greatest showman), baking vegan goodies and learning TikTok dances (embarrassing I know!). Three words I’d use to describe myself are talkative, friendly and passionate. I love meeting new people and I’m always up for a good time! .

Why did I want to be a LAPP ambassador?

I wanted to be an ambassador because I really admire the fact that LAPP is a black, female owned brand. To me, this is incredibly empowering, and a huge reminder that I'm capable of whatever I put my mind to, regardless of what society says about me. I also absolutely love the looks! Every piece looks like something off the runway and I love that! For me, LAPP definitely sticks out as the type of brand you always look and feel good in!

Hannah Kuyebi

@hannah.kyb

Short bio -

So a little bit about myself, my name is Hannah Kuyebi. I’m a 19 year old micro-influencer, fashion fanatic, and marketing student. I love expressing myself through my style on my Instagram platform and I aspire to inspire girls just like me wear what makes them happy.

Why did I want to be a LAPP ambassador?

I wanted to be a LAPP Ambassador as I’ve followed you and your company’s journey for a while now. Your brand identity, image, and personality is inspirational. I’ve always desired to wear your pieces because of influencers such as yourself, Annie Drea, Hera Patra, and Patricia Bright. I love to see black businesses flourish and when I seen this opportunity come up I knew I had to shoot my shot to be a LAPP ambassador.

Remmi Aziz

@Remski.x

Short bio -

I’m 20 year old uni student studying sports science with management,Uni has been difficult. It's had me on ropes however I’m pushing through it because I always prevail! I’m quite the social butterfly, I love going out whether it's to the club or somewhere in nature (which I love) I'm there! Especially in this current climate, anywhere outside is good enough for me. I have a big passion for food especially sports nutrition and well-being, coming from a healthy and athletic household, and myself was a Team GB and England athlete for karate so health has always been important to me. I love to cook. I'm very adventurous with food. If I’m not eating, I’m shopping for clothes and skincare, meditating or vibing to music.

Why did I want to be a LAPP ambassador?

I wanted to be a LAPP ambassador as I feel I can really relate to the brand. Aside from the fact I’m active and into fitness/sports, seeing Lapp big on women’s issues, diversity, empowerment and promoting confidence is everything to me, and I'm a very passionate and outspoken girl. LAPP is a brand I can look at & see myself in. As you would know the industry is changing when it comes to representation, i feel it's still not quite there, but there has been some massive positive changes recently and I would also like to be part of this change.I’ve never been camera shy and I do have some experience modelling when I was younger however my mum withdrew me due to lack of diversity & how toxic it was back then as a child. In the last few years I’ve been doing small things and so many people I know and strangers have really encouraged me to get out there to model, serve and represent. I’m very proud of who I am being a half Black Caribbean and half Bengali and Muslim! I’m ready to represent and I feel being a LAPP ambassador will be the perfect place to start.

My passion is in development, I like learning and pushing things further as I believe that’s how you can see my creativity, it’s not always about buying expensive pieces to look good. I take pride in myself as I know how to create looks whilst being on a budget. I enjoy using my platform to show and share things like makeup and fashion tips/where I get things from so all my followers can be super fly with me.

Why did I want to be a LAPP ambassador?

I jumped at the opportunity to be a Lapp Ambassador because Lapp is cool, sexy and empowering! Too often, I feel excluded from brands and companies, but I realised from the get go that Lapp is so inclusive. I wanted to be a part of representing that. Lapp's story is incredibly inspiring, and I couldn't wait to join the family.

Stacy Momoh

My name is Stacy I’m 21 years old, I’m Nigerian and I live in Essex. I’m a part time influencer, model, pharmacist, and full-time undergraduate in Digital marketing. My main hobbies are writing poetry, styling, modelling and public speaking. I’ve been wanting to model and get into social media influencing since I was 14 and never had the courage to do it. So the past year has really been about me accepting my figure and owning it and when I found out about Lapp and did my research i knew this was just the place to do exactly that!

Why did I want to be a LAPP ambassador?

The brand focuses on all shapes, sizes, colours, interests etc. Once I actually experienced the items on I knew for sure this is something I want to be a part of and instantly became passionate about, from the patterns, designs, originality, personality of each piece it really screams me. I can’t wait to present this to my audience and the LAPP audience and truly get these qualities across.
