Most Valuable Players: Top 10 Players & Celebrities Involved in Activism

As of last week, many athletes and celebrities have joined Colin Kaepernick’s nonviolent protest. The Take A Knee protest, started because of the ongoing brutality towards African Americans. The protest started with the NFL player Colin Kaepernick a couple months back but, after being referred to as “sons of bitches” by the President of the United States, other players have united with Kaepernick.

  1. Ray Lewis.

The Baltimore Ravens’ Linebacker dragged Colin Kaepernick through the mud when he first protested against police brutality. He said he would never disrespect the flag or the anthem because it meant so much to him. When he saw other players in the NFL join the nonviolent protest he decided to join, but he claims he wasn’t protesting; He was praying. Boy bye!

Colin Kaepernick was the NFL player that took the first stand and protested against the mistreatment of blacks in America. He was laughed at by other players and his actions were belittled because of his status. He still has not been drafted because of his actions but he continued to do what he felt was right. Kaepernick and others have clearly stated that they are not disrespecting the flag but drawing awareness to what is going on. Kaepernick, you’re doing amazing sweetie!
